Something I see a lot –
Poker players are really good at knowing what the right move was right after they make their decision.
The chips are in.
The pressure is gone.
And everything becomes clear.
When the emotions and adrenaline are pumping through you during a hand of poker, you’re either able to accept how you feel, or you’re not.
If you’re not able to?
No clarity over the decision.
When you’re in the hot seat, your thoughts will keep spinning, and you won’t be able to quite figure out what you want to do. You’ll be stuck in your head, weighing the pros and cons of either side, but never feeling like you’re making any progress.
But when accepting how you feel isn’t a problem?
You’ll finally have a sense of clarity at every decision point.
You might not make the right move 100% of the time, but you’ll walk away completely OK with the outcome.
When you lose, you’ll be able to take something away and learn from the hand, rather than feeling like you just froze up or tilted.
What could be more important than that in the long run?
If this resonates with you, and you’re ready to make this your highest priority every time you go play, hit me up here:
